1st Entry

Well, I finished my first contract with Carnival Cruise Lines. That blog is Derekdaisey.blogspot.com.

A friend of mine brought up on my last blog that when I first started it, It started off with me writing down what I wanted to accomplish which was to get a job on a cruise ship as a soloist musician. Well, within a few months, I achieved that and was very successful. So I thought, I would try that approach again and blog about it. This time, it's to be come a rockstar. That's a very broad term, but essentially, I want be a touring musician with an album out on the radio, doing what I love on a global scale.

I have a great core group that's working together to get stuff moving. Right now we have lots of things going on in the background, and I will document these soon. The the purpose of this blog is to follow the day by day steps I take on trying to become a rockstar!
